About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join Ovoko, a fast-growing e-commerce startup in Europe. In this role, you will own the finance side of our shipping and logistics initiatives, combining financial guidance, deep analysis, and proactive communication to help shape and scale key projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Update and refine business models for various initiatives
- →Keep inputs relevant and provide monthly reports
- →Keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates on project progress
- →Track key operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- →Deliver ad-hoc financial, operational, and pricing analyses
- →Collaborate with teams across the company to design and evaluate ongoing and new business initiatives
Requirements
- ✓Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- ✓2+ years’ experience in finance or quantitative analysis, with focus on model building and progress tracking
- ✓Analytical and critical thinking skills; able to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights
- ✓Great communication skills for conveying complex financial and pricing concepts to all levels
- ✓Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for data manipulation, business modeling, and reporting
- ✓Eager to learn and understand end-to-end processes
- ✓Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- ✓Creative problem-solver with high attention to detail and accuracy
- ✓Continuous improvement mindset, including process streamlining and task automation
