About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join Perplexity and help accelerate our growth initiatives globally. This role involves working closely with multiple teams to provide data-driven insights that optimize strategies across various business functions.

Key Responsibilities

→Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, Product, Enterprise, and Partnership teams to provide data-driven insights
→Perform deep-dive analyses on user behavior, conversion funnels, and retention patterns
→Lead user research and segmentation analysis to inform growth strategies
→Design, implement, and interpret A/B tests to enhance marketing performance and user experiences
→Define, implement, and visualize key growth metrics across various channels
→Develop data models and pipelines to improve analytics efficiency
→Support revenue growth initiatives through pricing analysis and subscription optimization
→Analyze paid acquisition channels and campaigns performance
→Conduct analysis on social media performance, SEO initiatives, and marketing spend

Requirements

✓6-8+ years of experience as a data scientist or in a related role with a growth focus
✓Experience with growth disciplines including paid acquisition, product marketing, SEO, social media, and conversion optimization
✓Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI and visualization tools
✓Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests and statistical experimentation
✓Strong ownership and self-starter attitude with experience in cross-functional collaboration
✓Experience with data modeling and pipeline development
