About the Role
The Point72 Business Acceleration Team manages all aspects of onboarding new systematic equity trading teams and systematic macro trading teams as well as deployments of new trading strategies. The team represents PMs with external counterparties and handles rate negotiations, vendor relationships, and trading relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- →Complete project lifecycle management launching new PM Teams into production
- →Design PM research and trading solutions that adhere to firm standards
- →Educate PM teams on Point72 operating procedures and technology integration
- →Lead new strategy rollout projects internally with Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Risk groups, and externally with brokers, exchanges, and vendors
- →Provide day-to-day support for various operational procedures such as broker data management, compliance monitoring, trading, and business continuity
Requirements
- ✓Combination of software development and communication skills with experience in financial services
- ✓BS in finance, statistics, math, engineering, or computer science preferred
- ✓2 years of relevant work experience a plus
- ✓Ability to assist veteran specialists while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills, excellent time management, and team attitude
- ✓Ability to document technical specifications and articulate concepts
- ✓Working experience in Python and SQL
- ✓Linux/Unix scripting (Perl, bash, etc.) a plus
- ✓Database design experience a plus
- ✓Knowledge of systematic trading in liquid instruments and macro instruments preferred
- ✓Experience with digital currency exchanges, liquidity providers, and derivative financial products a plus
