About the Role
Engineering Managers at PPRO build collaborative teams that deliver high-quality, scalable products. In the Cash Flow domain, you'll lead the engineering strategy for PPRO’s financial infrastructure, ensuring seamless fund movement and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with Product Managers to develop technology strategy for the transactional accounting system
- →Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering psychological safety and technical excellence
- →Lead system evolution to elevate the ledger into PPRO’s financial backbone
- →Stay close to the code, making informed decisions while identifying technical risks
- →Collaborate with stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Treasury) to influence decisions
- →Facilitate technical discussions and navigate complex trade-offs
- →Establish metrics and processes for operational excellence
- →Lead your team with a startup mentality—succeed, fail, and learn together
Requirements
- ✓Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- ✓Humble and inclusive leadership style
- ✓Experience designing scalable products using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- ✓Experience mentoring and growing high-performing teams
- ✓Results-oriented, collaborative approach with continuous improvement mindset
- ✓Willingness to spend ~50% of time close to the code
- ✓Ability to analyze and articulate technical trade-offs
- ✓Strong experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- ✓Working proficiency in English
