About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Transaction Processing - Interfaces team in Munich. This role involves designing and implementing frontend and backend solutions in a high-scale, dynamic environment. Your work will help establish a foundation for efficient creation of frontend solutions and distributed configuration management across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain backend services and modules that power PPRO’s interfaces and platforms
- →Take full end-to-end ownership of your work, driving products and services from design to production
- →Execute with a "you build it, you run it" mindset, identifying technical risks and participating in on-call rotation
- →Collaborate closely with team members through pair programming, asynchronous communication, and knowledge sharing
- →Use the latest technologies to solve complex problems for our customers at scale
Requirements
- ✓Results-oriented, collaborative, and pragmatic mindset with a hunger for problem-solving
- ✓Excellent writing and drawing skills to articulate technical decisions
- ✓Proven experience designing and building scalable products and services in a cloud-native environment
- ✓Working proficiency in English
- ✓Deep knowledge and experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot 3
- ✓Hands-on experience with AWS components (EKS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, OpenSearch) and Terraform
- ✓Strong understanding of event-driven microservice architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes
- ✓Experience with Micro-frontend architecture and building architectures that support multiple modules and widgets
- ✓Experience using observability tools like Datadog
