About the Role

Pure Storage is seeking a Strategic Accounts Account Executive to accelerate growth of the Portworx platform across Strategic Financial Services accounts in EMEA. This role focuses on building and executing multi-year account plans to drive platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

→Own and grow a portfolio of named Strategic FSI accounts, delivering against annual and multi-year revenue targets
→Build and execute account plans that map buying centres, application priorities, Kubernetes roadmaps, and transformation programmes
→Develop executive relationships across CIO, CTO, CISO, Head of Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, and Application leaders
→Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through close, including security, risk, procurement, architecture review, and legal processes
→Position Portworx around measurable outcomes: application resilience, ransomware recovery, data protection, regulatory compliance
→Orchestrate account teams and partner ecosystems to drive pipeline creation and deal execution
→Run a rigorous, value-based sales process with accurate forecasting and strong hygiene in Salesforce
→Partner with Customer Experience to expand adoption post-sale and build customer advocacy
→Stay ahead of competitive dynamics in Kubernetes data services, backup and recovery
→Represent Portworx in customer meetings and relevant industry events

Requirements

✓Proven enterprise software sales experience with a track record of closing high-value deals
✓Demonstrable experience selling into Financial Services with understanding of procurement, governance, risk, and security requirements
✓Strong grasp of cloud native concepts and the Kubernetes ecosystem
✓Experience selling to both technical and executive stakeholders
✓Disciplined pipeline generation, qualification, deal management, and forecasting
✓Comfort working in a matrixed environment, influencing cross-functional teams
✓Strong communication and programme management skills
✓A customer-first mindset with resilience and curiosity
