About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, visionary Principal IT Technologist to join our dynamic IT organization at an IC6 level. This hands-on, high-impact role involves serving as the lead technical and functional architect for transformative, cross-functional projects across the enterprise, focusing on designing, building, and implementing a modern Configure-to-Order (CTO) and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as the principal architect for the end-to-end CTO/CPQ solution, partnering with product management and engineering teams to define the technical roadmap and guide implementation.
- →Design and govern the integration architecture between CPQ, CRM, ERP, PLM, and Order Management Systems to ensure master data consistency and seamless transaction flow.
- →Define sophisticated product and service models, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and advanced configuration rules for complex, customized solutions.
- →Establish best practices for configuration rule authoring, maintenance, and deployment to standardize data constructs.
- →Partner with execution teams to migrate legacy systems and business processes to the new CTO paradigm.
- →Architect the CPQ system for high maintainability and autonomy during high-velocity periods.
Requirements
- ✓A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- ✓A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT, with a significant emphasis on designing, implementing, and managing large-scale enterprise applications.
- ✓Deep understanding of critical business processes, including Go-to-Market strategies, Subscription and Recurring Revenue Management, and ERP/Order-to-Cash business processes.
- ✓Technical expertise in CTO and CPQ, including CPQ data constructs, configuration architecture, scalability, and maintenance of CPQ systems.
- ✓Experience with APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and master data flow.
