About the Role
We are seeking an SVP of Delivery and Operations to lead technical operations and service delivery for the company. This executive role focuses on driving delivery strategies, overseeing projects, and strengthening brand equity through expertise in digital infrastructure and cloud services. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Private Cloud Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and implement delivery strategies aligned with organizational goals
- →Build a strong Global Delivery and Operations engine to enable growth and profitability
- →Drive initiatives related to service delivery efficiency, process excellence, and operational excellence
- →Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet required standards
- →Oversee planning, execution, and completion of projects to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery
- →Operate in a matrixed, cross-cultural environment with experience in Go-to-Market Services creation
- →Engage the talent landscape to shape Rackspace as a great place to work and build a career
- →Enable greater collaboration across different teams in the company
- →Partner with the GTM organization to support new business opportunities and client satisfaction
- →Lead a globally diverse, multi-disciplined organization through talent management strategies
Requirements
- ✓Prior successful experience as a delivery leader with significant scope and complexity at scale
- ✓Proven P&L leadership in a multi-site, distributed, global organization
- ✓Experience in Digital Infrastructure or Cloud
- ✓Excellent track record of managing cross-functional technical and non-technical resources
- ✓Proven experience in Service Delivery, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, and Datacenter management
- ✓Experience in cross-functional partnership with Product, Project Management, GTM, and Engineering teams
- ✓Ability to enable sales and pursue emerging new product opportunities
- ✓Successfully operated in a matrixed environment
- ✓Executive presence and gravitas to engage with key internal and external stakeholders
- ✓Advanced analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- ✓Bachelor's degree in business or related field required (MBA or graduate degree highly preferred)
