About the Role

We are looking for a founding Sales Development Representative to join our first team focused exclusively on building Ramp’s presence in the Public Sector market. This individual contributor role has a clear focus on sourcing high-value deals and requires self-motivation with high social intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

→Source new Public Sector opportunities through outbound outreach
→Qualify prospects through consultative selling while leveraging BANT criteria
→Grow top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns
→Research companies and add prospects to our outbound list
→Maintain accurate client relationship data within Salesforce

Requirements

✓Experience working directly in the Public Sector/SLED space
✓Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent listening abilities
✓High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes
✓Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency
✓Deep interest in understanding business challenges
✓Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency
