About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Information Security Risk to join Seccl, an embedded investment platform owned by Octopus. This role is responsible for managing and improving the information security management system (ISMS) and providing second-line oversight of all security activities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Shape and drive information security strategy alongside the CRO and executive team
- →Partner with Risk to define and embed security risk appetite
- →Evolve and strengthen the ISMS, continuously improving policies, controls, and processes
- →Own oversight of third-party security reviews and customer due diligence
- →Turn security metrics and risk insights into clear, actionable reporting
- →Lead internal audits and control effectiveness reviews, including ISO 27001/27002 controls
- →Drive resilience across the business, including business continuity and disaster recovery
- →Act as the Data Protection Officer, championing GDPR compliance
Requirements
- ✓Current CISSP certification
- ✓Significant experience leading Information/Cyber Security in a regulated environment
- ✓Experience operating within ICO-regulated environments and understanding GDPR compliance
- ✓Strong working knowledge of risk methodologies, security frameworks, and industry standards
- ✓Comfort with modern cloud technologies and their security considerations
- ✓Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and/or Implementer with hands-on experience
- ✓Solid technical foundation in IT or security
