About the Role
The Business Development Manager will drive profitable revenue growth across all departments of the SGS Food business within the assigned territory. This role focuses on establishing strategic long-term business partnerships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- →Source and close new business from current and potential target accounts
- →Establish strong relationships with an existing client base in the given territory
- →Perform annual comprehensive business reviews on key accounts
- →Review monthly sales reports for trends and respond appropriately
- →Act as the face of the company to external and internal clients
- →Facilitate and own the onboarding process for new accounts
- →Attend trade shows and participate in customer-focused marketing plans
- →Manage all aspects of the sales cycle including writing business proposals
Requirements
- ✓Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including overnight travel when needed
- ✓Strong relationship-building skills with various levels of clients
- ✓Experience with sales processes and business development
- ✓Ability to analyze sales data and respond to trends
- ✓Excellent communication and presentation skills
- ✓Experience with RFP/RFQ responses
