About the Role
We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to join our team at SGS Ireland. This role involves managing all aspects of the recruitment process and supporting HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Responsible for recruitment activities including attraction, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer management and onboarding processes
- →Take the Lead with the in-house recruitment tool; Smartrecruiters, ensuring it is utilised to its full potential, including the reporting/analytics function
- →Train Managers/Supervisors and all employees in interviewing skills, including utilising Smartrecruiters and how to give feedback after an interview
- →Provide reporting updates on recruitment metrics to all stakeholders, including identifying process improvement opportunities
- →Annual review of recruitment policy and procedures, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose
- →Develop retention strategy for all business segments
- →Engage with Segment Managers in forecasting and planning for their recruitment needs
- →Participate in career fairs and work with third-level education providers in supporting Internships, Work Placements, Apprenticeships and building the SGS Brand
- →Support the HR team with Admin, HR queries, HR point of contact and in some instances training support
- →Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
- →Adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and clients
Requirements
- ✓Experience in recruitment activities including attraction, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer management and onboarding processes
- ✓Proficiency with recruitment tools, particularly Smartrecruiters
- ✓Strong training and development skills
- ✓Ability to provide reporting updates on recruitment metrics
- ✓Knowledge of recruitment policy and procedures
- ✓Experience in developing retention strategies
- ✓Ability to engage with Segment Managers in forecasting and planning
- ✓Experience in participating in career fairs and working with education providers
- ✓Strong administrative and HR support skills
- ✓Understanding of compliance with Company policies and procedures
