About the Role
We are looking for a Security Lead to join Sierra, a company creating a platform to help businesses build better customer experiences with AI. This role will lead security initiatives for Sierra’s Conversational AI Platform, focusing on data protection, identity and access management, infrastructure hardening, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead security initiatives for Sierra’s Conversational AI Platform
- →Bring structure, visibility, and accountability to critical security programs
- →Shape compliance readiness by aligning with frameworks such as ISO 42001, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, and the EU AI Act
- →Build a security-first culture, designing awareness programs
- →Embed trust by design, partnering with Product, Platform, and Agent Engineering
Requirements
- ✓Security & Privacy Expertise: Deep understanding of first principles in security and privacy
- ✓Framework Fluency: Strong command of standards like ISO 27001, ISO 42001, PCI DSS, and the EU AI Act
- ✓Product Intuition: Understanding of how our product works, how data flows, and how infrastructure scales
- ✓Adaptability: Comfortable building in motion and solving ambiguous problems at speed
- ✓Strong Communication: Ability to explain risks, trade-offs, and decisions with clarity and credibility
- ✓Experience operating in regulated and high-trust sectors
- ✓Hands-on cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ✓Working knowledge of core security domains
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
