About the Role
We are looking for a Community Builder to create and grow engaged communities around our new AI products - Coderick AI and SiteGround AI Studio. This ground-up role involves establishing our presence on platforms like Discord, Reddit, and relevant forums, and building spaces where users connect, share feedback, and help each other succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild and manage online communities across our own channels, Discord, Reddit, forums, and other relevant platforms
- βDevelop community strategy including platform selection, engagement tactics, and growth plans
- βCreate and maintain community guidelines, structures, and moderation practices
- βFoster meaningful conversations and connections among community members
- βAct as the voice of SiteGround in community spaces - answering questions, sharing updates, and gathering feedback
- βIdentify and nurture community advocates and power users
- βSurface user feedback, feature requests, and pain points to product teams
- βPlan and run community events, AMAs, challenges, and other engagement initiatives
- βTrack community health metrics and report on growth, engagement, and sentiment
- βCollaborate with marketing and product teams to align community efforts with launches and campaigns
Requirements
- β3+ years of experience building and managing online communities
- βProven track record of growing communities from scratch on platforms like Discord, Reddit, or forums
- βDeep understanding of community dynamics, engagement tactics, and moderation best practices
- βExcellent written communication skills with a natural, authentic voice
- βPassion for technology and genuine interest in AI tools
- βAbility to balance community advocacy with business objectives
- βSelf-starter who can work independently and take ownership of community strategy
- βFluent English.
