About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Support Analyst with SQL specialization to join our Client Support Services team at StarCompliance. This role involves taking ownership of complex technical issues in our cloud-hosted web applications and delivering timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities

→Serve as a senior escalation point for complex issues in a SaaS compliance platform environment
→Take end-to-end ownership of support requests and high-priority incidents
→Write, analyse, and optimise T-SQL queries and troubleshoot database performance issues
→Apply knowledge of Windows Server, Azure environments, and IIS to diagnose and resolve web application issues
→Support and monitor Azure-hosted applications using tools like New Relic and SQL Sentry
→Collaborate with Development, Product, and Infrastructure teams for root cause analysis
→Provide guidance to peers and foster collaboration within the team
→Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements
→Develop and maintain internal knowledge bases and documentation

Requirements

✓Advanced, hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including complex T-SQL scripting, query optimization, and performance tuning
✓Proven experience supporting Microsoft-based web applications in IIS and Azure environments
✓Skilled in using monitoring tools like New Relic, SQL Sentry, and Uptrends
✓Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✓Experience working within structured service delivery frameworks and ticketing systems
✓Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
✓5+ years of experience supporting enterprise web applications or SaaS platforms in a Microsoft technology environment
✓Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex technical issues
✓Proven ability to manage multiple support requests while maintaining quality
✓Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
