About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join Stripe's Funded Startups team in EMEA. This role focuses on creating partnerships between Stripe and innovative startups, helping them leverage Stripe's financial infrastructure to support their growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations to increase and retain existing customer revenue
- →Develop and implement full sales cycle strategies for driving product adoption and client retention
- →Solve complex client needs by working across product, sales, risk, and operations teams
- →Represent Stripe in the local startup ecosystem and help grow our footprint
- →Work with investment partnership team on VC portfolio analyses and founder-focused gatherings
- →Collaborate with in-country go-to-market teams on shared initiatives
- →Identify users’ pain points to propose Stripe solutions
- →Coordinate with internal teams to ensure users’ success
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in a client-facing/sales role
- ✓Ability to understand complex technical ecosystems and build relationships with technical customers
- ✓Experience driving and closing upsell opportunities in long-term engagements
- ✓Analytical ability to manage complex pricing and cost considerations
- ✓Experience managing projects with input from cross-functional teams
- ✓Ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders
- ✓Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- ✓Superior verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Fluency in German
