About the Role

We are looking for a People Operations Advisor to join our UK People Operations team at Trainline. This role involves providing high-quality HR support, managing employee data, and contributing to People Ops projects to enhance HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

→Provide first-line support to employees and resolve HR queries professionally
→Maintain accurate people data in HRIS (HiBob) and produce reports
→Contribute to People Ops projects like system enhancements and process redesign
→Support cyclical People processes and document employee lifecycle changes
→Prepare and process monthly UK payroll
→Manage benefits administration and employee lifecycle administration
→Process People-related invoices and purchase orders
→Support the improvement and implementation of People policies

Requirements

✓Solid foundation in People Operations and motivation to learn in a tech-enabled environment
✓Understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and core HR processes
✓Experience in payroll administration with knowledge of UK tax and statutory requirements
✓Comfortable working with HR systems like HiBob
✓Data-literate with ability to produce and interpret reports
✓Exposure to process improvement and system enhancements
✓Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
✓Professional communication skills
✓Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
