About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Project Management to join our team. This role will support the Western Region and California Cost Center 8140 in driving growth and profitability in the San Francisco/Bay Area/Northern California region through leadership, new business development, client management, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead bid teams and run proposal generation efforts in concert with the business generation and senior management teams.
- →Partner with client-facing professionals to develop winning marketing strategies for new business development.
- →Compile and vet existing materials and draft original content for proposals and client materials.
- →Consistently engage with industry professionals through presentations, meetings, and networking events.
- →Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities, working with the Senior Management team to develop strategies promoting Turner & Townsend across the U.S.
- →Support key client/account management programs, working closely with key client leads on localized marketing plans.
- →Manage business development and client databases, ensuring staff are aware of them and using them properly.
- →Prepare and deliver client presentations on topics of relevant experience and knowledge.
- →Attend client interviews to present service offerings.
- →Source and interview prospective candidates for the business.
- →Leadership of project management team responsible for planning and executing projects in the NorCal region.
- →Program management of NorCal portfolio of projects, including oversight of project management services, deliverables, and collaborations/resources.
- →Identify client service delivery needs and the business team resources necessary to execute such services for value-add results.
- →Utilize industry standard spreadsheets and accounting tools to track ongoing margin levels, monthly fee/resource forecasts, and financial reports.
- →Work with recruiting professionals to source, recruit, interview, and manage new talent for service delivery.
- →Provide effective line management for staff members, including coaching and mentoring.
- →Provide weekly updates regarding the status of projects, initiatives, and staffing.
- →Ensure client invoices are accurate and issued on a timely basis.
- →Liaise with municipal authorities having jurisdiction over projects.
- →Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
