About the Role
Vendelux is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to drive and execute the strategic analytics roadmap for the company. This role will be a critical partner to executives and business teams, recommending data-driven solutions and strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- βUse data to generate actionable recommendations to optimize performance and drive business results.
- βDefine, measure, and monitor KPIs that reflect underlying business dynamics, developing dashboards to track progress.
- βDesign and build data models to capture key information necessary for business insights by integrating data from various sources.
- βWork with engineering and business teams to understand data models, gather requirements, and design accurate and actionable business intelligence solutions.
- βDesign customer-facing dashboards and visualizations to share insights and recommendations from our platform.
- βLead the application of advanced analytics to model user behavior, uncover drivers of growth, and operationalize actionable insights.
- βCollaborate with operations, sales, and customer teams to share findings, implement recommendations, and generate feedback loops.
- βCommunicate insights and results to peers and leaders, promoting a culture of collaboration and learning across teams.
- βIdentify bottlenecks and implement improvements to our processes and tools.
- βProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Requirements
- βMinimum 5 years of relevant data analytics or business intelligence experience in areas such as marketing analytics, product analytics, or strategy and operations.
- βBachelorβs degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, etc.).
- βExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- βStrong proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau or equivalent, cloud data warehouses.
- βExperience applying advanced analytics, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization to uncover and communicate insights from data.
- βData model optimization skills to make BI processes more efficient and relevant is preferred.
- βAbility to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations, tailoring communications to diverse audiences.
- βExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- βExecute tasks independently, with a strong ability to contextualize business performance.
- βDemonstrated leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- βAdaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- βPrevious startup experience or equivalent strongly preferred.
