About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Professional to join Verkada's sales organization. This role involves selling enterprise security solutions to state agencies and requires a hunter mentality with a track record of exceeding sales quotas.
Key Responsibilities
- →Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas
- →Build an intimate understanding of Verkada products and their place in the industry
- →Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
- →Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
- →Exceed goals through outbound calls, emails, demos, and trials
- →Act as a trusted advisor to customers and channel partners
- →Work with Customer Success to ensure smooth launches
- →Provide market feedback to product/engineering teams
- →This role requires regular travel, estimated to be more than 50% of the time.
Requirements
- ✓5-10+ years of quota exceeding Sales experience with technology vendors
- ✓Prior Experience in Government procurement processes and regulations
- ✓Experience responding to Government RFI's and RFP's
- ✓Track record of developing greenfield territory in Enterprise software
- ✓Hunter mentality with solid Sales DNA
- ✓Strong verbal and written communications skills
- ✓BS/BA degree strongly preferred
