About the Role
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our team at Visa Technology & Operations LLC. This role involves developing testing strategies for Gateway Services Applications and ensuring high software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop testing strategy for Gateway Services Applications and determine the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests
- →Ensure high levels of software quality and seamless code releases
- →Create manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- →Create, maintain, and update automated test frameworks and test cases
- →Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests
- →Work with Development and other relevant teams to analyze, debug, and resolve design and software issues
- →Support cross-functional teams in integration test efforts
- →Develop software to augment existing test automation tools
- →Setup, configure, and maintain test environments
- →Hands-on testing on Linux and Windows platforms
- →Work closely with test lead and test engineers and provide technical guidance to peers
- →Collaborate with other teams to manage internal and external timelines and deliverables
Requirements
- ✓Experience in developing testing strategies and test automation
- ✓Strong understanding of manual and automated testing processes
- ✓Proficiency in Linux and Windows platforms
- ✓Ability to work with development teams to resolve software issues
- ✓Experience with test frameworks and test environments
