About the Role
Waymo is seeking a SAP FICO Business Analyst to join its Business Systems team, which defines and builds the business IT architecture supporting Waymo's autonomous fleet operations. This role will act as a subject matter expert in SAP modules and drive strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as a subject matter expert in SAP FICO modules, BRIM, RAR, Group Reporting, and Planning/Consolidation modules
- →Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
- →Design, configure, test, and implement robust SAP solutions aligned with regulatory compliance
- →Lead and manage end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects
- →Ensure financial data integrity across systems and develop financial reports
- →Provide tier 3 operational support and develop training materials
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
- ✓Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant with primary focus on SAP FICO
- ✓Proven experience in at least two full life cycle SAP implementation projects
- ✓Deep functional expertise in SAP FICO modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA/PCA, profitability analysis, and product costing
- ✓Strong understanding of SAP BRIM/Subscription Billing and SAP RAR
- ✓Experience with legal and management consolidation processes
- ✓Proficiency in financial budgeting, forecasting, and planning tools
- ✓Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- ✓Ability to read and understand ABAP code
