About the Role
We are looking for a Senior People Operations Associate to join Wayve, the leading developer of Embodied AI technology. This role will play a key part in delivering an exceptional employee experience for our US and Canada teams while contributing to Wayve-wide People Operations projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage payroll processing by verifying employee data and coordinating with the finance team on changes and updates.
- →Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions about payroll, benefits, time off, and general HR policies.
- →Own visa and relocation processes for new hires as well as internal transfers, ensuring coordination across multiple teams and with immigration counsel.
- →Lead and facilitate new hire onboarding sessions for US and Canada employees, ensuring an engaging and informative start.
- →Maintain accurate employee data in our People Systems and ensure timely updates to payroll, benefits, and employment records.
- →Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, offboarding, and data management workflows, both Wayve-wide and for local employees.
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or a similar role.
- ✓Strong knowledge of US & Canada Payroll
- ✓Strong knowledge of global mobility and immigration processes, including common US visa types, application requirements, and coordination of visa initiation with external immigration counsel.
- ✓Experience supporting US and/or Canadian employee populations.
