About the Role
We are looking for a Regulatory Product Compliance Manager to join our APAC Product teams. This role will focus on launching new products and services while maintaining and upgrading existing offerings in South-East Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify which regulations will apply to new products or features and mitigate associated risks
- →Collaborate with Product Teams throughout the product lifecycle, from design to post-launch monitoring
- →Empower Product Teams to take a risk-based approach to building products, processes and controls
- →Build practical and customer-oriented product solutions while ensuring compliance
- →Identify opportunities to improve product proposition by analyzing regulations
- →Identify and manage regulatory risks across all Wise products in SEA
- →Perform pre-launch and ongoing risk assessments, advising Product Managers on regulations
- →Collaborate with Compliance Oversight team to ensure awareness of new regulations
- →Escalate breaches and high-rated risks to Compliance Oversight
- →Ensure relevant specialist teams provide input into the product lifecycle
- →Represent Wise in external meetings with partners, regulators, and auditors
- →Contribute to quarterly team plans and long-term objectives
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in regulatory compliance and product management
- ✓Experience in managing regulatory risks across financial products
- ✓Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Bankers, Engineers, and Data Analysts
- ✓Knowledge of regulations in South-East Asia
- ✓Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- ✓Ability to analyze regulations and challenge existing interpretations
- ✓Experience in product launch and lifecycle management
- ✓Strong understanding of compliance oversight processes
- ✓Ability to develop and maintain risk mitigation plans
- ✓Experience in representing organizations in external meetings
- ✓Ability to contribute to team strategy and culture
