About the Role
Workato is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our expanding sales team. This role involves managing customer relationships from prospecting to post-sales growth, with a focus on driving product awareness and upsell within enterprise organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage a target book of current customers and executive relationships, driving additional product awareness within enterprises
- →Conduct in-person workshops with customers for product education and use case identification
- →Meet and exceed annual and quarterly sales targets, including QBRs, LOB, user outreaches, and event participation
- →Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
- →Understand the product inside out and be technically sound
- →Understand customer needs and requirements
- →Share best practices back into the organization
Requirements
- ✓3-6 years of experience in a full cycle, closing role, with a preference for account management/customer expansion focus
- ✓Experience in leading complex sales to IT and business leaders
- ✓Successful in selling software or technology solutions, ideally in integration, middleware, automation, or enterprise software
- ✓Experience in selling to both technical and business/executive stakeholders
- ✓Prior AE or Account Manager experience in the SaaS or iPaaS space
- ✓Experience developing and owning customer relationships
- ✓Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
- ✓Experience handling relationships with mid-market companies, including C-suite
- ✓Comfortable with the ambiguity of a startup environment
- ✓Natural curiosity to learn
- ✓Enthusiastic team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Desire to build something new
- ✓Comfortable traveling to visit customers
- ✓Not afraid to do outbound prospecting
