About the Role
Zania is building agentic AI for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to solve a massive industry problem. As the first recruiter, you’ll build the team behind the company, owning technical recruiting end-to-end and scaling our hiring engine from 0→1.
Key Responsibilities
- →Run the full recruiting process from kickoff and sourcing to interviews, offers, and closing
- →Partner with the CEO and technical leadership to define roles, success criteria, and the bar
- →Build creative outbound strategies, track funnel health, and close exceptional talent
- →Deliver a world-class candidate experience through a transparent, high-touch process
- →Stand up recruiting systems (ATS, dashboards, feedback loops)
- →Create scalable processes for interviewer training, score calibration, and playbooks
- →Shape Zania’s employer brand through outreach, events, and storytelling
Requirements
- ✓4–7+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth startups
- ✓Proven track record sourcing and closing top engineering and AI talent
- ✓Bias for action with constant iteration and quick decision-making
- ✓Strong judgment and bar-raiser instincts when evaluating technical talent
- ✓Excellent communication skills to pitch the mission, team, and opportunity
- ✓Highly organized and data-driven with strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills
