About the Role We are seeking an Agentic AI Architect with a .NET background for a contract position. This role focuses on assessing applications, identifying resiliency gaps, and driving improvements in availability, reliability, performance, scalability, security, observability, and maintainability. Key Responsibilities • Assess applications and identify resiliency gaps • Implement resiliency patterns including retries, circuit breakers, failover, graceful degradation, rate limiting, timeout management, and idempotency • Leverage AI and Agentic AI to improve engineering productivity, application resiliency, modernization, troubleshooting, and operational excellence • Implement AI Spec-Driven Development approaches • Apply Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted development techniques • Develop enterprise applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using .NET • Utilize observability platforms for monitoring, telemetry, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing • Perform performance engineering, production troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Assess legacy applications and define modernization roadmaps • Work with cloud-native architectures, messaging platforms, and CI/CD pipelines • Translate assessments into architecture recommendations and implementation backlogs • Collaborate across architecture, engineering, platform, and operations teams Requirements • Proven ability to assess applications and drive improvements in availability, reliability, performance, scalability, security, observability, and maintainability • Hands-on experience implementing resiliency patterns • Experience leveraging AI and Agentic AI to improve engineering outcomes • Hands-on experience with AI Spec-Driven Development • Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted development • Strong hands-on experience in .NET development • Experience with observability platforms and performance engineering • Experience assessing legacy applications and defining modernization roadmaps • Experience with cloud-native architectures, messaging platforms, and container platforms • Ability to translate assessments into architecture recommendations and implementation backlogs • Strong database, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Ability to collaborate across teams to drive enterprise engineering excellence • Java experience is desirable
