About the Role We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to join EduRun Group and lead technical delivery for backend development. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Golang, Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to develop scalable enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities • Lead day-to-day technical delivery for the assigned engineering POD • Collaborate with Client Engineering Managers and Engineering Leads • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions • Provide delivery estimates and identify dependencies • Drive successful completion of sprint commitments • Ensure engineering standards, testing requirements, and documentation are met • Identify risks, resolve blockers, and coordinate production incident response • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise backend services • Build scalable applications using Golang and Java/Spring Boot • Design and implement microservices architectures • Develop containerized applications using Docker • Build and maintain enterprise system integrations and reliable API services • Troubleshoot performance issues and support root-cause analysis • Develop unit tests and contribute to automation initiatives • Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices • Support automation-first QA and AI-assisted delivery initiatives Requirements • 8+ years of overall software engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go) • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot • Good understanding of Microservices Architecture • Experience with AWS and Docker • Hands-on experience with Redis • Experience with GitLab and CI/CD Pipelines • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integrations • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services • Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, and reliability • Proven experience leading enterprise engineering teams • Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Experience managing delivery commitments and engineering metrics • Strong ownership and accountability
