About the Role We are seeking a Lead Engineer for Product and Platform Engineering to join our team. This role involves leading engineering efforts across product and platform development, with a focus on front-end and full-stack technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement solutions using React and TypeScript • Lead code reviews and mentor other developers • Build reusable components, micro front ends, and design systems • Integrate REST APIs and manage state with Redux • Provide production support, including on-call response for critical incidents • Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor applications using tools like Datadog • Collaborate with stakeholders and use agile methodologies Requirements • 5 to 7 years of front-end or full-stack engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript • Production experience with React Native for iOS and Android builds • Experience with Node.js, Express, REST API integration, and Redis • Experience building reusable components, micro front ends, or design systems • Experience with front-end tooling: Vite or Webpack, npm or pnpm, Sass, ESLint, Prettier, Jest, Testing Library, and Storybook • Experience with CI/CD (GitLab preferred), AWS, and monitoring tools • Experience with Jira and agile delivery • Clear communication and ability to work with onshore stakeholders • Willingness to participate in on-call support for Sev 1 incidents Education & AI Literacy • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • AI literacy is required, with familiarity in using AI tools in software development
