About the Role Purple Squirrels Software is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a publicly traded company and lead the evolution of QA practices using AI-driven test automation. This role involves building and maintaining automated test suites and evaluating new AI/ML testing tools. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, integration) using AI-assisted tools • Own end-to-end QA for feature areas including test planning, exploratory testing, and regression coverage • Evaluate and implement AI/ML testing tools into the QA pipeline • Partner with developers on root cause analysis and fix verification • Build CI/CD test integration for reliable test execution • Mentor other QA engineers on using AI tooling while maintaining test rigor Requirements • 6–9 years in QA engineering with 2+ years building automation frameworks • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools in production workflows • Strong scripting skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java • API testing experience with Postman or REST Assured • CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI • Ability to work onsite in Newark, CA Benefits • Opportunity to lead the evolution of QA practices using AI • Work on real products at scale • Mentorship opportunities
