About the Role
AppZen is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to join their expanding team in Germany. This role involves presenting Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, or financial automation solutions to enterprise customers and driving revenue by taking technical ownership of opportunities throughout the full sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop deep expertise in AppZen’s products, platform, and use cases
- →Deliver compelling, customer-specific demonstrations and presentations
- →Articulate business value aligned to German and European finance and compliance requirements
- →Identify and address critical customer business and technical challenges
- →Take technical ownership of opportunities across the entire sales cycle
- →Partner with Account Executives on qualification, discovery, and deal strategy
- →Lead responses to RFI/RFPs, security questionnaires, and data protection inquiries (e.g., GDPR-related)
- →Plan and manage proof-of-concepts and pilot engagements to successful completion
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- ✓Experience with Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), ERP, or financial automation platforms (e.g., Ariba or similar)
- ✓Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles for business software
- ✓Strong balance of sales, business, and technical skills
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
