About the Role

Tenna is seeking a Regional Account Executive to join their sales team, focusing on hunting, selling, and closing new customers in Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. This role involves actively prospecting new business and facilitating all aspects of the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

→Own the acquisition and closing of new business for assigned geographic territories
→Sell to C-level executives, VPs, and Field-Based Employees, adjusting strategies based on persona
→Collaborate with sales leadership and supporting teams to align new business acquisition strategies
→Utilize the "zippered" approach to sales and actively prospect potential customers
→Initiate and cultivate relationships with prospective customers through various channels
→Create and execute outreach micro-strategies for potential new customers
→Lead in-person or virtual product demonstrations and draft proposals, quotes, and contracts
→Negotiate contracts and close deals with thoughtful micro-strategies
→Leverage cross-functional internal resources to close new business
→Stay updated on industry trends and market shifts

Requirements

✓3+ years of experience selling enterprise software to construction or related industries
✓7+ years of experience facilitating all aspects of the sales cycle
✓7+ years of experience conducting targeted searches and queries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads
✓Strong experience selling to C-level Executives, VPs, and Field-Based Employees
✓Strong experience in quota-carrying roles delivering consistent revenue growth
✓Strong experience traveling as a strategic method for prospecting and selling
✓Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or business-related major preferred
✓Experience using Salesforce and HubSpot preferred
✓Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations
✓Excellent verbal communication skills, specifically around negotiations, public speaking, and presentations
✓Strong negotiation skills
✓Deadline-driven and detail-oriented
