About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Cloud Sales Specialist to help grow our Platform Prime customer base and increase revenue. This individual contributor role will focus on driving North America sales through new customer acquisition and cross-selling to existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and implement strategies to generate new Prime business opportunities and achieve sales targets
- →Engage with existing Platform Core customers to understand their challenges and provide Azul solutions
- →Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close, maintaining a robust pipeline
- →Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success teams for comprehensive product demonstrations
- →Drive contract negotiations and consistently close business monthly and quarterly
- →Maintain accurate records of sales activity in Salesforce
Requirements
- ✓15+ years of direct software sales experience
- ✓Proven track record selling both on-premise and cloud-based software to large enterprises and SaaS companies
- ✓Experience in key verticals: online retail, e-commerce, ad-tech, gaming, and financial services
- ✓Significant experience selling into infrastructure space (OS, JVM, Container)
- ✓Confident experience working with Technical Sales Engineers
- ✓Extensive experience selling technical products requiring POCs
- ✓Experience with Java-based Open Source products is highly desired
- ✓Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- ✓Exceptional communicator, influencer, and presenter
- ✓Ability to evangelize new solutions without existing budget placeholders
- ✓Demonstrated ability with multi-level selling
- ✓Proficient in deal qualification methodologies, MEDDPICC preferred
- ✓Progressive and proactive use of industry sales tools and systems
