About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Project Manager to join Block's Compliance Strategy and Operations PMO. This role involves driving key programs that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of our global Compliance organization.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead high-impact initiatives by developing and driving comprehensive project roadmaps and plans
- →Act as a trusted advisor to Compliance and functional leaders, distilling complex issues into clear recommendations
- →Operate with autonomy and accountability to anticipate challenges and ensure forward momentum
- →Align and influence diverse stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes
- →Establish and optimize frameworks, tools, and governance models for project delivery
- →Support strategic programs through prioritization, resourcing, and progress tracking
- →Develop and communicate clear, data-driven updates and insights through executive-level reporting
- →Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and execution speed
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in project management, program management, consulting, or strategy
- ✓Proven ability to lead strategic and operationally complex initiatives in a cross-functional environment
- ✓Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- ✓Strong analytical and documentation skills
- ✓Demonstrated success establishing governance structures and reporting frameworks
- ✓Experience with project reporting fundamentals including budget, timeline, and performance indicators
