About the Role

Couchbase is seeking an IT Tech Lead to join our Raleigh, NC office. This role involves serving as a technical leader and systems owner, driving automation, scalability, security, and innovation across internal IT and SaaS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

→Act as the IT technical lead for employee systems and internal productivity platforms
→Own the architecture, administration, and lifecycle of core SaaS platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira/Confluence
→Lead Slack administration and workflow automation
→Administer Jira & Confluence, including user provisioning, permissions, workflows
→Own Google Workspace administration and build automations
→Design and build AI-powered, agentic IT applications
→Serve as the Okta administrator and subject matter expert
→Oversee provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning of macOS and Windows endpoints
→Lead implementation and optimization of MDM solutions
→Own incident management and escalation processes via IT ticketing tools
→Provide on-site & remote support to global users

Requirements

✓7+ years of progressive IT systems or desktop engineering experience
✓Strong experience with Google Workspace Administration
✓Strong experience with Slack administration and workflow automation
✓Strong experience with Jira & Confluence administration
✓Okta administration experience, including SAML/OIDC, group rules, lifecycle management
✓Hands-on experience building automation and AI-driven workflows
✓Expertise with macOS and Windows endpoints in enterprise environments
✓Experience with MDM platforms
✓Knowledge of Active Directory, basic networking, and endpoint security solutions
✓Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills
✓Excellent communication skills
