About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join Elastic, the Search AI Company. This role will help lead and shape quality assurance efforts across the Observability line of business, defining quality strategy and performing hands-on exploratory testing.
Key Responsibilities
- βPerform exploratory testing against recent builds of the application and provide feedback to product teams on undesirable behavior
- βAnalyze testing strategies employed by various teams and recommend specific improvements
- βCoordinate between release management and product teams to determine the fitness of the product prior to release
- βParticipate in coordination efforts with other quality assurance teams across the organization to standardize on quality strategy
Requirements
- βExperience using Observability tools in production or supporting teams who do, with special attention given to those with experience with the Elastic stack
- βAbove-average writing skills in English and attention to detail
- βA mix of creativity and rigorous thinking to create and execute test scenarios
