About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Federal Government Account Manager to join Esri’s US Department of Agriculture (USDA) account team. This role involves working with federal government customers to optimize and expand adoption of Esri technology, identify new growth areas, and deliver expertise that helps deliver on their mission.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build relationships and prospect, develop, and implement location strategies for organizations
- →Understand customers by demonstrating industry knowledge and its relevance to GIS applications
- →Learn and grow by clearly articulating the strength and value of Esri technology
- →Deliver results by successfully executing account management and sales processes
- →Collaborate with others by leveraging domain knowledge when working with teams
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- ✓5+ years of experience working in or supporting the federal government
- ✓Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor
- ✓Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation
- ✓Demonstrated knowledge of the federal government, USDA, and new technology trends
- ✓Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling
- ✓Ability to travel domestically 25-50%
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
