About the Role

We are looking for a Solution Architect to partner with utility customers to design and implement advanced ArcGIS enterprise system solutions. This role involves working closely with Esri customers and partners to create solutions that meet specific business and technical needs while evangelizing the utilization of GIS.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and implement innovative ArcGIS platform-based strategies and solutions to meet complex customer requirements
→Define business continuity for on-premises and cloud deployments, following industry standards for security and governance
→Translate customer system requirements into software architecture and design specifications
→Advise customers on innovative solutions using Esri technology and content
→Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions for Esri software implementation and migration
→Work with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows
→Develop organizational-level IT/GIS strategies for technology change and budgetary planning
→Mentor and guide colleagues with less experience
→Lead implementation processes through mentoring, coaching, and risk management
→Plan and script ArcGIS platform deployment automation

Requirements

✓12+ years in GIS platform architecture and solution design
✓5+ years of experience applying GIS technology within the electric and gas utilities sector
✓Proven experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, RDBMS, server environments, and programming/scripting
✓Knowledge of integrating GIS with ERP, EAM, CRM, SCM systems
✓Strong ability to lead teams, manage budgets and risks, and communicate technical concepts
✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Mathematics, or related STEM field
