About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join IMC's trading team. This role will serve as a key partner to local trading teams and interface with external trading counterparties.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as a primary relationship owner for key trading counterparties
- →Build durable, high-trust external relationships supporting trading needs
- →Partner with trading teams to enable access to new markets and products
- →Lead commercial negotiations covering brokerage, clearing, and service expectations
- →Coordinate across Trading, Technology, Operations, and Compliance teams
- →Manage end-to-end onboarding execution for new counterparties
- →Monitor post-launch performance to ensure relationship value
- →Track market-structure developments and counterparty trends
- →Identify opportunities to unlock trading efficiencies
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience
- ✓3 - 8+ years of experience in trading business development or related roles
- ✓Strong understanding of brokerage flows and clearing processes
- ✓Demonstrated ability to partner with trading, technology, and operations teams
- ✓Strong commercial instincts and excellent communication skills
- ✓Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- ✓Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Strong judgment and pragmatism
