About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team at IXL Learning. This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with school administrators across the US to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the customer life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Proactive communication to customers throughout the year to provide best in class service
- →Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure customer engagement throughout the life of the subscription
- →Responsible for renewals including upsells and all transactional components
- →Work with field sales to develop and manage targeted campaigns to upsell and expand within existing accounts
- →Understand all facets of the IXL product as well as any other IXL K-12 family of brands programs the clients are using - demonstrating both technical and operational expertise
- →Curiously learn and develop true alignment with internal IXL Learning systems and processes
- →Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide the best customer experience and maximize product usage and engagement
- →Effectively communicate new product enhancements and benefits to existing customers via phone calls and video conferences
- →Conduct regular territory review meetings with internal stakeholders to communicate general territory health, trends, including changes to strategic direction
- →Accurately track all customer related activities, communication and opportunities in salesforce.com
- →Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
Requirements
- ✓BA/BS Degree required
- ✓3+ years in Account Management/Customer Success, Renewal Sales or Inside Sales with 5+ years of work experience overall
- ✓Classroom experience and/or a related educational field preferred
- ✓Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- ✓Strong presentation skills
- ✓Energetic self-starter with a track record of exceeding goals and who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
- ✓MS Office, Google Suite computer skills. Salesforce experience a plus
- ✓Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
- ✓Exceptional critical thinking, research and problem-solving skills
- ✓Proven ability to work effectively across teams
- ✓Comfortable with technology and passionate about bringing technology into the classroom
