About the Role
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive sales and foster relationships within the Automation sector. This role focuses on achieving revenue goals through innovative sales programs and engaging with customers to promote measurement products that enhance operational efficiency. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively, with travel expected up to 75% and fluency in French necessary for client engagement in Quebec.
Key Responsibilities
- →Achieve assigned revenue goals by developing sales programs and obtaining customer orders
- →Promote and sell Measurement products to new and existing customer accounts
- →Develop and implement sales presentations tailored to customer process control needs
- →Cultivate strategic relationships with key customer representatives
- →Provide value-added solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and business results
- →Coordinate with product engineering and field service teams as needed
Requirements
- ✓5 years of progressive application and sales experience in the process technology or pulp & paper industry
- ✓B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Pulp & Paper Engineering Technology; other relevant technical training considered
- ✓Proven ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- ✓Strong communication and responsiveness skills
- ✓Valid driver’s license is required
- ✓Fluency in French is necessary
