About the Role
We are seeking an IT Assurance Lead to oversee and manage all audit-related activities within the IT department. This role involves leading assurance plans, managing team utilization, and ensuring all IT audit observations are addressed and closed.
Key Responsibilities
- →Carry out audits and act as the point of contact for all escalations related to audit activities
- →Support management in providing audit finding responses and implementing controls as per audit recommendations
- →Perform periodic Technology Assurances to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of system controls
- →Present assurance results to senior leadership, identifying risks and gaps
- →Drive efficiencies in the assurance process through control automation and common methodologies
- →Prepare and review assurance reports, summaries, and memos
- →Work closely with stakeholders to ensure appropriate action plans are in place
- →Lead the execution of comprehensive assurance plans
- →Manage assurance team utilization to ensure engagements are on time and within budget
- →Conduct ongoing monitoring and validation of management action plans
- →Stay updated on new regulations and trends affecting the risk landscape
- →Identify and develop standard assurance work programs
- →Establish and manage automated workflows to increase efficiency
- →Manage and develop direct reports to strengthen leadership capability
- →Coach team members in building assurance and technology acumen
- →Drive data analysis in risk assessment and execution of assurances
- →Create monthly and quarterly IT governance packs for senior management
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in IT assurance and audit
- ✓Strong understanding of system controls and procedures
- ✓Excellent presentation and communication skills
- ✓Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- ✓Knowledge of risk management and control design elements
- ✓Experience with automation and workflow management
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Ability to adapt testing approaches based on identified risks
- ✓Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards

- ✓Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and provide recommendations
- ✓Experience with creating and reviewing assurance workpapers
