About the Role
Significance, Inc. is seeking a Business Operations Financial Analyst to support their team in Coronado, CA. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance and involves leading Business Process Improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead Business Process Improvement (BPI) initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Navy’s “Get Real Get Better” methodology
- →Standardize shipboard financial management processes through development and review of SOPs and user manuals
- →Deliver training on afloat financial integration with N-ERP and feeder systems
- →Ensure all training meets Department of the Navy standards
- →Monitor DoD Financial Management Certification progress
- →Manage DON data calls
- →Maintain SharePoint sites to support audit readiness and financial program collaboration
- →Create customized reports and templates with Microsoft Power BI, Access Database, and Excel
- →Develop and maintain centralized digital repositories for financial process documentation
- →Design automated workflows using Microsoft SharePoint and UiPath
- →Provide technical writing support for Comptroller Guidance updates
- →Develop training materials and conduct user training
- →Offer ongoing troubleshooting and quality assurance support
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of five years of recent experience
- ✓Active Secret Clearance
- ✓Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Navy’s “Get Real Get Better” methodology
- ✓Knowledge of Department of the Navy standards
- ✓Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Access Database, Excel, SharePoint, and UiPath
- ✓Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- ✓Experience with financial process documentation and training development
