About the Role
We are seeking an Outside Sales Regional Account Manager to join our team covering a sales territory in the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan area. This role focuses on maintaining current customers and obtaining new business through an organized outside sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
- →Maintain current customers and obtain new customers in a defined geographic territory
- →Cold call and prospect for new business
- →Manage a book of open orders to ensure customers are informed and satisfied
- →Update your CRM daily and design your schedule around an organized outside sales approach
- →Build relationships with customers at all levels of their organizations
- →Help solve customer problems and keep industry running
Requirements
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering OR 2-year technical degree is preferred
- ✓2+ years of industrial sales experience in industrial repair services, with preference for electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and/or mechanical components
- ✓Demonstrated experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, and time management
- ✓Ability to establish and maintain business relationships
- ✓Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Computer proficiency with MS Office products and ability to learn and use a CRM system
- ✓Must have a valid driver's license
- ✓Overnight travel may be required
- ✓Ability to drive to and make customer visits in industrial settings, and may lift items up to 50lbs
