About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Solutions Architect to join our team in Singapore, focusing on the APJ region. This role serves as Temporal's primary customer-facing technical leader, guiding prospects and customers in understanding the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform and showcasing the technical advantages of our cloud service.

Key Responsibilities

→Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal’s platform well
→Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service
→Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies and architectural patterns
→Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase Temporal adoption and expansion in production environments
→Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans
→Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers at customer organizations

Requirements

✓Reside in Singapore and are eligible to work without sponsorship
✓Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing
✓Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices
✓Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages
✓Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments
✓Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics
✓Experience with at least one major cloud provider
✓Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives
