About the Role
We are looking for a Founding Sourcer to join Tutor Intelligence, an MIT-founded AI software company focused on deploying AI directly into manufacturing facilities. This early, high-impact role involves building and maintaining a high-quality software engineering pipeline, working closely with the CTO and engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner directly with the CTO and engineering leaders to define sourcing strategies and talent profiles for software and technical engineering roles
- →Generate top-of-funnel candidates through outbound sourcing across LinkedIn Recruiter and non-traditional channels
- →Manage inbound and outbound pipelines in Lever, ensuring stage hygiene, tagging, notes, and coordination with hiring managers
- →Ensure a smooth and efficient candidate flow by supporting scheduling, handoffs, and communication
- →Continuously experiment with new sourcing approaches, tools, and communities
- →Provide clear visibility into pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and bottlenecks
- →Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to iterate on role definitions and process improvements
Requirements
- ✓2–5+ years of experience in technical sourcing, recruiting, or a closely related role
- ✓Strong technical literacy, ideally with a background in computer science or software engineering
- ✓Hands-on experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS tools such as Lever
- ✓Comfort working directly with senior technical leaders and founders in a fast-moving startup environment
- ✓Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and attract high-quality technical candidates through outbound sourcing
- ✓Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly around pipeline management
- ✓Clear, concise written communication skills, especially for technical outreach
- ✓High ownership mindset; comfortable operating with limited structure and building processes as you go
