About the Role
This key role serves as the main finance partner for the MS NOW Newsgathering organization, a major strategic initiative. The Senior Financial Analyst will build partnerships with leadership to address daily priorities and execute special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with editorial leadership to support a new team of 100+ journalists leading worldwide news coverage
- →Plan and communicate financial implications of strategic decisions, staffing changes, and cost initiatives
- →Provide reporting and operational support for third-party partner arrangements
- →Own all financial processes including annual budgets, long-range strategic plans, and financial estimates
- →Create KPIs, build operational reporting, and identify risks and opportunities
- →Develop relationships with show leaders and HR; manage headcount reporting
Requirements
- ✓Strong financial planning and analysis experience
- ✓Ability to partner with editorial and leadership teams
- ✓Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- ✓Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple priorities and support ad hoc requests
