About the Role
We are looking for a Compliance Operations Manager to join Wise in Hyderabad. This role focuses on reviewing higher risk customers for our APAC entities and strengthening our control environment to mitigate financial crime risk.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review and make decisions on cases escalated for Senior Manager approval
- →Be the first point of contact for operational teams on KYC/CDD matters
- →Own the definition of Senior Manager approval escalation criteria for assigned regions
- →Review and validate issues relevant to the Senior Manager approval process
- →Oversee the decision quality of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
- →Provide input into first line quality framework applied to EDD
- →Review EDD training materials to ensure adequate consideration of local typologies
- →Drive process improvement initiatives relating to customer due diligence
Requirements
- ✓In-depth financial crime compliance expertise
- ✓Experience with KYC/CDD processes
- ✓Strong understanding of regulatory obligations
- ✓Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- ✓Experience with financial crime risk management
- ✓Knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
