About the Role
Workato is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our expanding sales team. This role involves managing customer relationships from prospecting to post-sales growth, with a focus on driving product awareness and upsell within enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage a target book of current customers and executive relationships, driving additional product awareness within enterprises
- →Conduct in-person workshops with customers for product education and use case identification
- →Meet and exceed annual and quarterly sales targets, including key account management activities
- →Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
- →Understand the product inside out and be technically sound
- →Share best practices back into the organization
Requirements
- ✓6-10 years experience in a full cycle closing role, with a preference for account management/customer expansion focus
- ✓Experience in leading complex sales to IT and business leaders
- ✓Successful in selling software or technology solutions, ideally in integration, middleware, automation, or enterprise software
- ✓Experience in selling to both technical and business/executive stakeholders
- ✓Prior AE or Account Manager experience in the SaaS or iPaaS space
- ✓Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
- ✓Experience handling relationships with mid-market companies, including C-suite
- ✓Comfortable with ambiguity in a startup environment
- ✓Enthusiastic team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment
- ✓Willingness to travel to visit customers
- ✓Not afraid to do outbound prospecting
