About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Partner Account Manager to join Cloudflare in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves leading and building out our global partner ecosystem, driving strategy and execution for managing high-value, strategic partners across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
- βDrive the strategy and execution for managing high-value, strategic partners across different regions
- βLead the development of joint business plans and work with senior partner stakeholders
- βEnsure partners have the resources and support needed to drive partner-sourced revenue
- βDevelop, manage, and optimize key partner relationships globally
- βDrive the full sales lifecycle from opportunity registration to deal closure
- βInfluence partnersβ go-to-market strategies and manage partner incentive programs
- βCollaborate closely with internal teams to achieve revenue and strategic goals
- βLead partner business planning and execution for strategic global accounts
- βCollaborate with sales teams on joint partner territory planning
- βDrive partner sales enablement, including advanced training and certifications
- βCoordinate demand generation and GTM activities with partners and internal teams
- βDevelop and influence partner strategies to align with Cloudflareβs business objectives
- βShare analytics, metrics, and insights with executive and technical champions
- βManage partner programs, including MDF, SPIFF, and other incentive programs
Requirements
- β5+ years of experience in partner management, SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure, or Security sales and channel management
- βProven track record of developing and executing strategies that drive partner-sourced revenue
- βExperience working with senior-level executives within partner organizations
- βStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure, SaaS, and security solutions
- βExpertise in partner programs, including tiered partner structures and managing incentives
- βAbility to manage complex, global partner relationships and influence partner strategies
- βStrong communication and presentation skills
- βExperience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members
- βAbility to travel up to 30-50% depending on business needs
